These Terms of Service govern your use of TravRec. TravRec is a travel recommendation app that helps users save, share, and discover travel recommendations.
TravRec is currently in beta testing. Some features may still be limited, changed, or removed before public release.
1. Provider

2. Minimum age
TravRec is intended for users aged 18 years or older. By using TravRec, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
3. Your account
You may need to create an account to use TravRec. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activities that happen through your account.
You must provide accurate account information and must not impersonate another person or create an account for someone else without permission.
4. Beta status
TravRec is currently provided as a beta version. This means that features may be incomplete, changed, unavailable, or removed. The app may contain bugs or temporary limitations.
We may update, restrict, or discontinue beta features at any time.
5. User-generated content
TravRec allows users to create and share content, including travel recommendations, profile information, comments, and images.
TravRec has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior, including harassment, hate speech, threats, and other conduct that violates our Community Guidelines.
You remain responsible for the content you submit. You must only upload or share content that you have the right to use and that does not violate the rights of others or applicable law.
You must not post content that is illegal, harmful, misleading, offensive, spammy, promotional in an abusive way, or otherwise violates our Community Guidelines.
6. Visibility of content
Some content on TravRec may be public or visible to other users. Some content may be limited to accepted friends or other visibility settings in the app.
You should only share content that you are comfortable making available according to the visibility setting you choose.
7. License to use your content
By submitting content to TravRec, you grant TravRec a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, display, and process that content as necessary to provide and operate the TravRec app.
This license is only for operating, improving, and providing TravRec. You remain the owner of your content.
8. Prohibited behavior
You must not use TravRec to:
- harass, threaten, or abuse other users
- post illegal, harmful, hateful, explicit, or misleading content
- spam or manipulate the app
- impersonate others
- attempt to access accounts, systems, or data without permission
- interfere with the security or operation of TravRec
- use TravRec in a way that violates applicable law or our Community Guidelines
9. Reports, blocking, and moderation
TravRec provides reporting and blocking features where available.
Reports are reviewed manually by the TravRec team. We aim to review reports of content or user behavior within 24 hours and take appropriate action where necessary.
If content or behavior violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines, we may remove content, restrict visibility, limit account access, or delete accounts in serious cases.
If a user blocks another user, both users no longer see each other’s content. A block can only be removed by the user who created the block.
10. Account deletion
You can delete your TravRec account in the app under Settings -> Delete Account.
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. More information is available on our Account Deletion page.
11. Privacy
Our processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Availability and changes
We aim to provide TravRec reliably, but we do not guarantee that the app will always be available, error-free, or unchanged.
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of TravRec, especially during beta testing.
13. Disclaimer
Travel recommendations on TravRec are user-generated. TravRec does not verify every recommendation and does not guarantee that any place, recommendation, route, activity, or information is accurate, safe, available, legal, or suitable for you.
You are responsible for checking local conditions, laws, safety, opening hours, prices, and travel requirements before relying on a recommendation.

15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as TravRec develops. The current version will be available at https://trav-rec.com/terms.
